The first ever DVE Rocks for Children's radiothon was a huge success. Thank you to those who made it possible. Thanks to WDVE 102.5 FM and all their talent and energy, the first DVE Rocks for Children’s radiothon was a great event and a fun way to raise more than $137,000 for the needs of patients at Children’s.

Historic Moment: The first DVE Rocks for Children's radiothon broadcast from Children's Hospital on Sept. 11-13, 2008, and it marked the first time that the popular station's morning, afternoon and drive-time DJs were all on the air at once: (L to R), Michele Michaels, Children's CEO Roger Oxendale, Randy Baumann, Jim Krenn and Sean McDowell.

As you might have heard when you tuned in, more than 1,600 listeners made gifts during the radiothon. Thanks to all for being generous toward the kids at Children’s Hospital.
